Well, January is finally over, and that means it’s wrap-up time! It was a bit of a mixed month for me, books wise, with some absolute gems, and some that I honestly just did not enjoy.
I thought I’d get through more books than I did this month, considering there were five weeks, but oh well, life gets in the way and I still did pretty well IMO!
I can’t believe another month has already passed! It feels like only a few days ago that I was compiling my February wrap up. I’m quite happy with the books I read this month, I got through a good few of the books on my Goodreads list. I would have liked to add a few more to the list but oh well, there’s always April!
I’m quite pleased with the books I read in January – while I enjoyed some of them more than others, there are none of them that I disliked or regret spending time with. If I had to chose my favourite, I think it would be A Man Called Ove. It took me a little bit longer than usual to get through it, but it was a fantastic book.
In no particular order of preference, you can find the reviews of my January reads below.
As 2018 comes to an end, I’m looking back at the books I’ve read this year. There have been some incredible books, and some that weren’t so incredible..and some that I just did not like at all! I’ve just about managed to narrow down my favourite 5 books – not all of them are from this year, I just happened to discover them this year. So, without further ado, in no particular order..
